Meet John, an 80-year-old grandad who has lived a life full of adventure and excitement.Born in Munich, Germany, in the 1940s, he moved to Australia in the 1960s and has since lived a life that has taken him to many places and left him with many stories to tell.A few weeks ago, he contacted us to capture his life story on video and create a written memoir.
He wanted to share some of his most thrilling adventures and some of his most valuable lessons in life.As we listened to his stories, we were captivated by the tale of his life and all the exciting adventures he has lived.With three children and four grandsons, John has lived a life that has been full of joy, happiness, and adventure.One of the highlights of his life, has been his various trips abroad.He loves diving and has dived in Tahiti and Fiji numerous times.The funny grandpa has had many shark encounters throughout his diving life, but the most thrilling one was in Fiji.While he was diving, looking for corals, a young girl got attacked by a bull shark. Without hesitation, John dived after the shark, banged him on the nose, and scared him away. The girl was forever grateful for John's bravery!Apart from diving, John has had many other adventures throughout his life. He has travelled to many countries and experienced different cultures. He has hiked mountains, explored jungles, and visited ancient ruins. His thirst for adventure has taken him to many exciting places, and he has always embraced every new experience that came his way.But he’s not just an adventure.It’s when the loving family man talks about his family that his eyes truly light up.He has three children, and all of them have followed in his footsteps, living a life of adventure and travel. His four grandsons are the apple of his eye, and he loves spending time with them, telling them stories of his many adventures.As we listened to John's stories, we realised that his life is a testament to the power of living in the moment, embracing new experiences, and never shying away from a challenge. He has faced many obstacles over the last 80 years.But he has always emerged stronger, wiser, and more determined to live life to the fullest.John's life is a source of inspiration for all of us.His love for adventure, his courage in the face of danger, and his commitment to his family have made him a remarkable man.
